We will approach the issue of health from a cultural perspective; whether it be the clinical models of the West or a natural ‘life balance’ the more popular alternative across Asian continents. Health is currently a topical subject that can make or destroy political parties as the current provision within the NHS becomes increasingly inadequate. A change in demographic will challenge our understanding of conventional medicine and perhaps raise interesting discussions about alternative approaches.
